Hi there

I’m Chris and together with my partner Samara, we run Auckland Motorcycle Rentals. I’ve been involved with motorcycles my entire life—racing them, fixing them, and most of all, touring with them. Originally from the UK, I moved to New Zealand and was completely blown away by this country’s raw beauty and variety. In one day, you can ride from rugged coastlines to alpine peaks and back again. Even now, after years of riding, I’m still discovering new roads just outside our front door—especially on an adventure bike like the CFMoto 450MT.

Samara a real Kiwi girl is the personality of the business —warm, welcoming, and the kind of person who makes friends wherever she goes. While I handle the technical side and make sure every bike is dialed in perfectly, she brings the energy and care that makes every rider feel at home. Together, we’ve toured all over New Zealand and Europe and fallen more in love with motorcycle travel every time we head out. That passion is at the heart of everything we do.

We’ve designed our rental experience with international riders in mind. We know what it’s like to be in a new country—trying to plan routes, understand the roads, and make sure everything just works. That’s why we’ve taken care of the logistics for you: from unlimited mileage and heated grips to luggage, phone mounts, and local route advice. You get full support from start to finish, so all you have to focus on is the ride.

We chose the CFMoto 450MT for our fleet because—honestly—even as a motorcycle mechanic, I can’t fault them. They’re light, reliable, fuel-efficient, and perfectly suited to New Zealand’s often tight, winding roads. They handle gravel just as confidently as tarmac, making them ideal for exploring those off-the-map places that big bikes can struggle with.

At the end of the day, our goal is simple: we want you to love your ride so much that you leave thinking it was twice as good as you expected. If we can make that happen—well, then we’ve done our job.
